Holii

Holii

Holii is a multi-utility cargo e-bike born from a collaboration between Omm•, a bike manufacturing company inspired by Indian culture, and CIXI, a French startup behind PERS, a Chainless Pedaling system.

It is a bike built around adaptability. The front cargo box integrates living hinges cut directly into the material, allowing the lid to fold into a child seat. A removable bag fits between the twin top tubes. Adjustable sidebars accommodate different types of loads. Each of these solutions emerged from a specific use case, a real scenario where the bike needed to respond differently without asking the rider to think too hard about it. The goal was a vehicle that feels intuitive across contexts, personal, family, and everything in between.

Holii was presented at Eurobike 2025 in Frankfurt, alongside its sibling Diwalii, a Pedelec also built around the PERS system.

Designed along with Sagar Mehra (Omm.), Harmanjit Singh (Omm.), Carlos Arturo Torres (CIXI - Design Director), Théo Blang (CIXI - Designer), and Jorge Martínez (CIXI - Intern Designer).
